Meco 1080 TRMS Digital AC/DC Clamp Meter estimates the vector sum of the currents flowing in every conductor passing through the probe, which relies on the phase relationship of the currents. In specifically, if the Meco 1080 clamp meter is closed around a two-conductor cable carrying power to equipment, the similar current flows down one conductor and up the other; the meter effectively peruses a net current of zero.
