Greystone AIR4100 Room Air Quality Transmitter is a device used to identify bad air quality. The AIR4100 Air Quality Sensor makes use of a cutting-edge MEMS metal oxide semiconductor sensor. The sensor responds swiftly to a wide variety of VOCs, including smoke, culinary aromas, bio-effluence, external contaminants, and from human activities. All VOC emissions that are entirely undetectable by CO2 sensors are captured by the sensor. The Air Quality Sensor has been calibrated to offer a “CO2-equivalent” ppm measurement value, enabling full compliance to existing HVAC CO2 ventilation regulations. Extensive studies and research have demonstrated that there is a direct association between CO2 levels and VOC levels.
